We´re engaged!

I thought I´d start the New Year with something a little more personal... news that are not all that new now anymore, but I somehow never got around to post!

Daniel and I got engaged in September, on the last true warm and wonderful summer night of the year 2011. And yes, that´s Venice in the background! :)

Wishing you all a happy, healthy, inspiring and wonderful 2012!

Mariam and Fabian - Couple Shoot in Stockholm

In early spring, we spent a few wonderful days in Stockholm. Neither Daniel nor I had ever visited a Scandinavian country, and Stockholm really enchanted us from the first day. We came home with way too much old porcelain from Stockholms Stadsmission, a ton of pictures, and the definive wish to return there as soon as possible!

We also got to spend a lovely afternoon with Mariam and Fabian, strolling along the waterfront and through some of Djurgarden - basically an island that is a park. It was really quite chilly, especially once the sun started to set (we seem to be specializing in chilly couple shoots...), but the light, and the beautiful and constantly changing colours of the sea were really too good to just sit inside and drink tea. Thanks Mariam and Fabian for exploring some of Stockholm with us, we hope to see you again there soon!

Postcard from Tuscany

Just a few days ago we returned from Italy, where we spent two weeks for a wedding and a few portrait shots. In between, we enjoyed a precious two-days mini-holiday at lovely Podere Torre in the Chianti region, the very heart of Tuscany... and Cecilia and her three lovely dogs Luna, Napoleone and Rocky really made us enjoy every minute!

In early spring last year we had an assignment in Spain, and after that, spent a couple of days in Granada with friends. With the weather still being very grey and wintery here in Berlin at the moment, I thought these pictures were a nice way to lighten up the day a bit!
